EDM Rap artist Primo Cruz has crafted a world, where society is in despair and music is the key to the kingdom. The post dreary landscape and nomadic lifestyle of the post-apocalypse world has been brought to life by hip hop director Antwan Smith who has worked on videos for artists like, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Cam'ron, and countless others. Oba Frank Lords produced the new song “Don’t Try To Hide” by Primo Cruz featuring vocalist Liz Primo. The song is an over-the-top, club thumping, anthem that hits you like a bulldozer with it’s pounding EDM electro beat. The Nomadic style visuals of the video give the infectious club anthem, a very surreal and nightmare-style look. The sight of Primo Cruz in black chained leather pants, shoulder pads, mile-long spiked hair and a gore-inspired mask... keeps the viewer intrigued while watching Primo Cruz rap along his post-modern songstress Liz Primo, who was inspired by the Mad Max- Beyond Thunderdome look. The set of the video was full of characters in all sorts of post-apocalypse style.
Old classic cars that were totally wrecked with missing engines and cracked windows were towed into the parking lot. There was a real witch doctor and even live chickens as part of the cast of ghouls and thugs that surrounded Primo Cruz and his crew. The production was filmed on various locations in Miami, including an abandoned insane asylum from the 1970’s that still has that creepy prison-hospital style. The beautiful and sultry voice of singer Liz Primo along with the raw and demon style vocal stylings of Primo Cruz will make the song “Don’t Try To Hide” a solid hit on the dance floor.
